South Africa has taken a step towards curbing gender based violence at institutions of higher learning. HIGHER HEALTH South Africa has released a set of instruments, guidelines and protocols that will help turn the sectoral GBV policy framework into practical implementation across campuses at institutions of higher learning. The document containing these protocols was released during a webinar on GBV in the higher education sector.

26 September SABC News: Higher Health, an institution devoted to student health, wellness and psycho-social wellbeing in the post-schooling education sector recently launched 10 fully furnished mobile clinic units, and the units will enhance health services at TVET, CET colleges and universities around the country.
